These proceedings represent the work of researchers participating in The 1st Syekh Nurjati International Conference on Elementary Education (SICEE) 2023 which is being hosted by the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Department, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon collaboration with Perkumpulan Dosen PGMI se-Indonesia, held on 29th July 2023 in Grage Hotel Cirebon City, West Java, Indonesia. SICEE 2023 has the theme of "Curriculum Transformation: Kurikulum Merdeka for Facing the Era of Society 5.0". SICEE is an event on the international research conference agenda and provides a valuable platform for individuals to present their research findings, display their work in progress, and discuss conceptual and empirical advances in the areas of Elementary Education. The 1th SICEE 2023 Proceedings were published in collaboration with the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Department, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon and Perkumpulan Dosen PGMI se-Indonesia, and SYEKHNURJATI PRESS.
