Author Guidelines

The Guidelines for the Manuscript

1. Articles are the author's original scientific work and have never been published or are in the process of being published by other media;

2. Articles emphasize the study of Islamic Family Law and Islamic Law in Islamic Countries in general and specifically in Indonesia by emphasizing the theories of Islamic family law and Islamic Law and its practices in the Islamic world (See Focus and Scope);

3. Articles must be by the surrounding style and journal template;

4. Articles submitted to Mahkamah have been written in Papers B5 (Width: 18, Height: 25), Margin (Top: 2,5 cm, left: 2,5 cm, Botton: 2 cm, Right: 2 cm), Tahoma 11 pt, 1 space and the length of writing is about 4000-6000 words, be equipped: a maximum of the title is 20 words (Indonesian or English), abstract as much as 150-250 words (Indonesian and/or English), and three to five words of the keyword in Indonesian.;

5. The articles submitted through online submissions must contain the article file and the academic biographical data such as affiliation, telephone number, and e-mail;

6. The article's systematics are:

  • Background: Summarise the social value (importance, relevance) and scientific value (knowledge gap) that your study addresses (optional).
  • Aim: State the overall aim of the study.
  • Methods: Clearly express the basic design of the study, and name or briefly describe the methods used without going into excessive detail.
  • Results: State the main findings.
  • Conclusion: State your conclusion and any key implications or recommendations.
  • ContributionWhat key insights into the research results and its future function are revealed? How do these insights link to the focus and scope of the journal? It should be a concise statement of the primary contribution of the manuscript; and how it fits within the scope of the journal.

6. The article submitted to Mahkamah has been written using the Mendeley manager reference application with Format Chicago Manual of Style 17th Edition (full note);

8. The articles were sent using Arabic-Indonesian transliteration according to SKB 3 Ministers;

9. Most of the references are sourced from primary data derived from reviews, research results, and research published in scientific journals over the last 10 years, except for a classic (old) literature list that is used as material for historical studies;

10. The manuscript is typed about the rules on the use of punctuation and spelling which are contained in General Guidelines for Enhanced Indonesian Spelling;

11. The editor does not return a manuscript that is not published. Scripts that are not published will not be returned, except at the author's request.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Authors who publish in this journal agree to the following terms:

  1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgment of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
  2. Authors can enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal.
  3. Article Submission: 0.00 (IDR)
Authors are required to pay an Article Submission Fee as part of the submission process to contribute to review costs.

Fast-Track Review: 700000.00 (IDR)
With the payment of this fee, the review, editorial decision, and author notification on this manuscript is guaranteed to take place within 4 weeks.

Article Publication: 350000.00 (IDR)
If this paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publications costs.

If you do not have funds to pay such fees, you will have an opportunity to waive each fee. We do not want fees to prevent the publication of worthy work.
