Author Guidelines

Please read and understand the author's guidelines for the preparation manuscript. The author who submits a manuscript to the editors should comply with the author's guidelines and template. If the submitted manuscript does not comply with the guidelines or uses a different format, it will be rejected by the editorial team before being reviewed. The editorial team will only accept a manuscript that meets the specified formatting requirements (downloadable at Template and Author Guidelines). This template is designed to assist Author in preparing the manuscript; it is an exact representation of the format expected by the editor. To use this template, please just Save As this MS Word file to your document, then copy and paste your document here.

Jurnal Studi Sosial Keagamaan Syekh Nurjati is committed to maintaining the integrity of publishing the most objective and unbiased scientific information possible. Jurnal Studi Sosial Keagamaan Syekh Nurjati cannot accept an article if it is not the author’s original work, has been published elsewhere before or is currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts must contain original material. The article must not contain any libelous or unlawful statements or in any way infringe the rights of others or criticize personal or religious sentiments.

A. General Requirements

The minimum standard requirements of Jurnal Studi Sosial Keagamaan Syekh Nurjati must be

  1. Written in Indonesian, Arabic, or English.
  2. The length of the submitted paper is at least 15 pages and no more than 23 pages.
  3. Use of a tool such as Mendeley for reference management and formatting, and choose APA style.
  4. Make sure that your paper is prepared using the Jurnal Studi Sosial Keagamaan Syekh Nurjati paper template.

B. Structure of The Manuscript

The manuscript must be prepared and suggested present following the structure:

  1. Title. The title of the paper is a maximum of 12 words, without an Acronym or abbreviation
  2. Abstract. The Abstract has a maximum of 250 WORDS; No citation; State in the abstract a primary objective, research design, methodology, main outcomes, and results, and conclusions.
  3. Introduction. The introduction should be clear and provide the issue to be discussed in the manuscript. At the end of the paragraph, the author/s should end with a comment on the significance of the identification of the issue and the objective of the research.
  4. Method. The method is written descriptive. This method is optional, only for original research articles.
  5. Analysis and Discussion. This section is the most important section of your article. Contains the results of the object of study and should be clear and concise.
  6. Conclusion. The conclusion contains a description that should answer the objectives of the research. Do not repeat the Abstract or simply describe the results of the research. Give a clear explanation regarding the possible application and/or suggestions related to the research findings.
  7. References. the Jurnal Studi Sosial Keagamaan Syekh Nurjati uses  APA style in the References at the end of the manuscript. Cite only items that you have read and written on footnotes. Please use Reference Manager Applications like EndNote, Mendeley, Zotero, etc. Use other published articles in the same journal as models. All publications cited in the text should be included in the References section and arranged alphabetically.
  8. References. Expect a minimum of 25 references primarily with a minimum of 60% to journal papers.
