Author Guidelines

The Guidelines for the Manuscript

1. Originality & Format
   Manuscript must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere. Text is typed on A4 paper, double-spaced, using Times New Roman size 12. The length of the manuscript is 5,500–6,000 characters, from introduction to conclusion. The manuscript must include a title (max. 15 words), an abstract (150–250 words), and 3–5 keywords.
2. Scope of Submission
   The journal accepts scholarly articles in the form of conceptual studies, literature reviews, and research findings in the field of Islamic Economic Law.

3. Structure of the Manuscript
   The manuscript should contain:

   • Title

   • Author’s name (without academic titles)

   • Author’s institutional affiliation, address, and email

   • Abstract (150–250 words)

   • Keywords

   • Introduction

   • Discussion

   • Conclusion

   • Bibliography

4. Citation & Footnote Style
   Sources must follow the APA Style citation format. All references are listed in the reference list, not in footnotes. In-text citations use the author–date system (e.g., Hasan, 2021).
5. Submission
   Articles are submitted in soft file format (doc, rtf, or docx) to the editorial board of Al-Mustashfa: Jurnal Penelitian Hukum Ekonomi Syariah.
6. Editorial Policy
   The editorial team does not return unpublished manuscripts. Acceptance or rejection will be communicated in writing.
7. Correspondence
   Submissions must include the author’s complete address, phone number, and email. Authors of accepted manuscripts will receive three copies of the journal as publication proof.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

This journal charges the following author fees.

Authors are required to pay an Article Submission Fee as part of the submission process to contribute to review costs.

Article Publication: 750000.00 (IDR)
If this paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publications costs.

If you do not have funds to pay such fees, you will have an opportunity to waive each fee. We do not want fees to prevent the publication of worthy work.
