Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

Author Guidelines

Authors of EDUEKSOS must adhere to the following guidelines:

1. The authorship should balance intellectual contributions to the conception, design, analysis, and writing of the article against other work in relation to the research. If there is no task that can reasonably be attributed to a particular individual, this individual should not be credited with the authorship.
2. Authors must declare that the work reported is their own and that they are the copyright owner (or else have obtained the copyright owner's permission).
3. Authors must declare that the submitted article and its essential content have not previously been published and are not being considered for publication elsewhere.
4. The author should avoid disputes over the attribution of academic credit. Therefore, it is helpful to decide early on who will be credited as the corresponding author, and contributors, and who will be acknowledged.
5. Authors must take public responsibility for the content of their papers. It is unethical to submit an article to more than one journal concurrently.
6. Any conflict of interest must be clearly stated.
7. Authors must acknowledge the data sources of their research and should acknowledge financial support sources to the research if any.
8. All errors discovered in the article after submission must be quickly communicated to the Editor.
9. Authors should state that the papers they submit have been approved by the relevant research ethics committee or institutional review board. If human participants were involved, the article must be accompanied by a statement that the participants had signed informed consent forms.
10. Authors should submit a short description of all contributions to their article. Each author's contribution should be described in brief. Authors of research papers should state whether they had complete access to the study data that support the publication. Contributors who do not qualify as authors should also be listed and their contributions described. This information should appear as an acknowledgment.
11. Authors should include information about their research funding in their articles.
12. Authors have a right to appeal editorial decisions.
13. Articles should be submitted in soft files using document format (.doc or .docx) to the Online Submission page.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

1. The article shall never be published or accepted for publication in any journal. The writer is responsible for the authenticity and copyrights of the article, including but not limited to photo illustrations and graphics.
2. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
3. The article must be submitted in .doc/.docx format using Times New Roman 12 pt and 1.15 spaces; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses).
4. The article is written either in Bahasa Indonesia or English properly, containing 5,000-9,000 words, excluding footnotes and a bibliography.
5. Reference lists should only cover actual literature resources cited in the article body.
6. We strongly recommend authors use reference tools, such as Zotero and Mendeley.
7. All illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end. The size is at least 800 x 600 pixels to attach photos or maps in the article.
8. Employing the template provided on the Edueksos Website.
9. Article Structure
   • Title. Times New Roman; Size-12, Bold, Uppercase (not more than 15 words)
   • Abstract. Please attach an abstract with a maximum of 250 words in English and Bahasa, enclosing research objectives, methodologies, and results.
   • Keywords. It consists of 4-6 words.
   • Introduction (Research background and problems)
   • Substance (Method, Analysis, Findings, & Discussion)
   • Conclusion and reflection (Problemsolving)
   • References. The references should follow the APA 6th style using reference managemen tools like zotero and mendeley.

By submitting the manuscript, the author(s) agree to the following terms:

1. The copyright of published articles will be assigned to Edueksos: Jurnal Pendidikan Sosial dan Ekonomi as the publisher of the journal under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. The intended copyright includes the right to publish articles in various forms (including reprints). Edueksos: Jurnal Pendidikan Sosial dan Ekonomi maintains the publishing rights to the published articles.
2. Authors are permitted to disseminate the published articles by sharing the link/DOI of the article at Edueksos: Jurnal Pendidikan Sosial dan Ekonomi. authors are allowed to use their articles for any legal purposes deemed necessary without written permission from Edueksos: Jurnal Pendidikan Sosial dan Ekonomi with an acknowledgment of initial publication to this journal.
