Focus and Scope

Prophetic : Professional, Empathy, Islamic Counseling Journal (e-ISSN 2685-0702) is an open access and peer-reviewed journal to discuss about new findings in Islamic Guidance Counseling. This journal is publishing original research articles, case studies and literature review focused on Guidance and Counseling, especially Islamic Guidance Counseling. This journal published by Department of Islamic Guidance Counseling (BKI), Faculty of Ushuluddin Adab and Da’wah, IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon.

The focus of this journal is to provide better and comprehensive understanding about Guidance and Counseling, especially Islamic Guidance Counseling.

Peer Review Process

Prophetic : Professional, Empathy, Islamic Counseling Journal (e-ISSN 2685-0702) uses an online submission and review system. The submission and peer review of every article must be managed using this system and based on following Peer Review Policy.

  • Manuscript articles that submit by online to Prophetic: Professional, Empathy and Islamic Counseling Journal will be checked by the board of editor regarding focus and scope, article template, and plagiarism (max simmilarity 20%)
  • The manuscript that qualifies the focus and scope of Prophetic : Professional, Empathy, Islamic Counseling Journal will be continued to the review process which, at least, will be reviewed by reviewers with double blind review.
  • The Reviewing process will consider novelty, objectivity, method, scientific impact, conclusion, and references.
  • The reviewing process by reviewer is done at least in four weeks.
  • Editor will make the final decision regarding the submission to the corresponding author based on reviewer’s recommendation.
  • Prophetic : Professional, Empathy, Islamic Counseling Journal Editorial Board shall protect the confidentiality of all material submitted to the journal and all communications with reviewers. 

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
